Yummy
Del.icio.us At first I couldn't fathom why anyone would want to use this when they can file their sites in folders but as I read the material suggested in 23 Things I began to see that I might find it useful. I'm sitting at someone else's PC at Elizabeth where I have no access to my Favourites. Tomorrow I'll be at Regency while my treasures Favourites reside at Tea Tree Gully. Maybe I could use Del.icio.us after all.
Dogs from Flickr
Found this cute picture of a puppy & a turtlehttp://http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=dogs&page=2 Other dogs are not so hot.
Wicki Wicki
Have just completed posting my favourite things on the LEARN Wicki. Took longer than I thought. Have a million things to do - not just 23! I am learning lots, just have to motivate everyone in TAN group but Val, who is plugging away & well ahead of me. I think Christine's idea of a meal together is a good one.

Wikis
My kids use Wikipedia all the time - they treat it like the holy grail. I've seen the teachertube video on Wikis before & think it's brilliant. Who couldn't contribute to a Wiki after seeing that? I quite like the idea of the Conference Wiki - maybe a good way to organise a LEARN meeting?
Catching up again
Have been awol for a bit but am surprised to find it much easier to find my blog, the progress chart & my RSS feeds. Even more surprised to see I have spent over 9 hrs in the Inn on the
23 Things and have 750 RSS feeds!
It's good to see that Val has been roaring ahead of some of us other TAN people. They must be sick of me asking how they're going on the 23 Things. I'm pleased that everyone has had a go but we need to keep moving.
Interesting too that different people like different things. Someone told me yesterday that they didn't like getting RSS feeds but I love them, mainly because I always thought they were some mystical technological thing that I couldn't do. Happy to find they are really easy...but potentially time consuming if you you are naturally nosy like me.

Catching up
Am running a bit behind with my 23 Things. If not careful I'll only get 20 Things done! Am at Elizabeth today "thinging" with Val. She's just created her blog. Woohoo!

Annibelle's antics
This morning Mitra & I had a See N Share meeting to learn how to set up the meeting & share our desktops. It would have been better if we'd had a headset or could have worked out how to use the speakers on our new phones but we managed one-handedly. This afternoon I got on the web & worked out how to use the speaker, so I learnt something new today.
I used Movi the other day for a TAN Library Technology Forum & discovered that we couldn't have more than one camera on in the same room unless you can stand the echo. Also found that one person per PC is about all Movi can manage but I notice the next version will have the capability to enlarge the view on the desktop. I haven't been able to get hold of the TLC staff to create a booking login yet but when I do I'll be looking for a fellow 23er to Movi with me.
It seemed easy to set up the blog but I could be eating my words when people actually see it.
